Steve Alan Edwards, Surviving the Singularity (“Just over the horizon are hurricane force winds of change– “change comparable to the rise of human life on earth” according to mathematician and computer scientist Vernor Vinge, also the author of such science fiction classics as True Names and Marooned in Real Time.
